Nothing Comes Easy

So hey guys. Its another day at work and yes its a Thursday. I know i said in my last vlog that you guys would confirm get 2 youtube video updates every week but i'm sorry to say that it might not happen very often for the next few months. Suddenly, all of a sudden, work piled up on me. So let us start proper now.

So, i woke up late today. Well done Iffah. Its not even a week yet and you're already starting to wake up late for work. What is happening? But no, i was not late for work. Surprisingly, i still the earliest. Yes! So I got myself a sandwich and a bottled iced lemon tea from the vending machine at the Cantonment Police Complex and went to work.

Work was fun until suddenly, everyone was rushing to get me to learn about the basic client serving skills. Kay guys, you know how one person is supposed to teach so that its one standard style? Yeah, that did not happen. But gratefully, both my guides were really great. i get to have more input and knowledge and my notes were still as excellent as ever. Oh hell yes! I just finished compiling them in a more neat, if you can call my handwriting neat, then yes, neatly and so that it flows nicely.

But i really am thankful to them for being super patient with me. Like i was like a blur sotong right there. I mean skin care wasnt really at the top of my head ever, especially learning all the facial thingy and all. Like i cant even afford it for goodness sake. So yeah. I hope tomorrow is gonna be okay, cos i'm expecting alot of them to test me and try to get me to be used to answering phone calls and dealing with different people.

I met Sam after work. I got off work a little late cos i was learning and taking down notes all. So yes. So happy that she actually waited for me just for us to have dinner together. Remind me to like hug you the next time i meet you kay Sam. And yeah, she had a lab test for a job that she's applying today. She said it went pretty well and i hope all is good for her. Like i want it to happen for her ah. So we went to Nandos and guys, let me tell you, I had almost forgot how good chicken taste like because all i've been eating the whole week so far is mee hoon and fish. Like i have not had chicken in a while. So of course we enjoyed dinner and we were like the liveliest people at Nandos. Could not stop laughing neither could we stop being weird. Like i love this girl to the moon and back lah!

So after that we decided to head home after looking at some hot American ice hockey players at the ice rink cos we were at JCube. So yeah. My day went well and intern is getting tougher but everyone start from the bottom. But having such great colleagues and a kind boss might just be the start of a very interesting intern period.
