Wonder about LIFE

Hey guys. The past few days, i've been out and about as well as away from my laptop. But today, i had chat about life, future and everything else that falls in between with someone. And there were certain things that really hit me close to home.

FUTURE.

What does it mean to you? What is the definition for you?

For some, when asked, they say it means to have a stable income to support your family. It means to be able to secure a job and be happy and content with it. While others say, it means to have the qualifications to be able to go far in life. 

But to me, future means everything that comes crashing in our face. Future means an education, a job, my passion, my immediate family and finally, my significant other. 

Basically people focused only on one aspect of the future. Just one. But today, someone made me see the bigger picture and how inter-connected they all are. You get an education to land yourself a job. Within that job, it might have a little hint of your passion. With a stable income, comes the support for anyone in the family. Then somewhere in between all of this happening, i might have found the one. 

I don't deny, girls search high and low for 'Mr. Right.' We have so many criteria, so many do's and don'ts that sometimes we really can't keep up. The truth is, sometimes, they are just right in front of us. But who the hell realises someone whose already so visible right? This person made me think and i realised that time plays a huge role in life. We just have to let everything fall into place and let nature take its course. 

Our future isn't just one aspect. Its all aspects. It hits us from every direction and we have to learn to intertwine them all together. So after reading this, what is your answer when someone ask,

"What is your future?"
