#friendshipgoals?

Hello my handsome and beautiful readers. Nope, its not gonna be some sappy sad rant today. This is probably more like the first time you read the post i wrote when i first began this blog. So, here goes another post about my day so far.

And so, i've actually started working part time at a kids enrichment centre. So far, its been pretty fulfilling. I mean i don't hate what i do, i like kids and another bonus, i'm working with my best friend, Sam. #friendshipgoals HAHAHA!

You guys know that i spent quite a whole load of my time with Sam and there is no denying that apart from Iffa, Sam is pretty much like the sister i never have. We used to spent our weekdays together when we were in poly and when she graduated, she'd still come down to meet me whenever she has the time. After i graduated and she had started working, we tried to tie our schedules together as much as possible to make sure we'd be able to meet at least once a week.

Somewhere along the way, my applications to get into universities weren't successful (cause i'm dumb like that), i ended up spending my time in my room and on my bed most of the days. So when Sam said that her workplace needed the extra hands, i thought, "why not? i mean, its better than staying home and wallowing in my own sorrows about why a boy fucked me over, right?" And so, that was how i ended up in the same work office as her.

Just like old times, i see her face 5 times a week and for about at least 10 hours each day. It was back to old routines when we were in school. The perks of being in the same office as your best friend is that, for me, it never gets boring. Yes, its probably a little hell on earth when we have the place to ourselves but in the end, we get all the job done. I don't mind working under my own best friend because at the end of the day, her success would be mine too and i'd be happy for her.

Its exactly 2 weeks today since i first started and so far, its been all good. I'm still searching for a full-time job as we go but for now, i'll bask in the happiness of achieving one of my #friendshipgoals which is to work with my best friend.
